Check out the raw version of 'Shouting Out' this very second.

Grey Daze, Chester Bennington's pre-Linkin Park band, released their album 'Amends' back in June, a collection of songs featuring Chester's re-mastered vocals from the group’s long out-of-print, and largely undiscovered catalog.

They have now revealed that they are releasing an acoustic EP called 'Amends Stripped', featuring raw and minimalist versions of some of the tracks.

The artwork looks like this:

And the tracklisting like this:

01. Shouting Out (Stripped)
02. Sometimes (Stripped)
03. Soul Song (Stripped)
04. What’s In The Eye (Stripped)
05. The Syndrome (Stripped)

Drummer Sean Dowdell has explained a little bit more behind the purpose of the release:

“One of the more interesting things about working with such a great singer like Chester, is the more you take away from his surroundings, the more you get to appreciate and hear all of the subtle nuances of his voice. He was a very special vocalist with an amazing writing ability, and it was very meaningful for us to use these different vocal performances on the acoustic version of ‘Shouting Out.’”

That version of 'Shouting Out' is here for you to listen to now:

In case you missed it back when it was released, here's the video for 'Soul Song' which was directed by Chester's son Jaime.
