Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong Will Appear In Upcoming Film ‘Like Sunday, Like Rain’
The film tells the story of a struggling musician (played by Leighton Meester) who becomes the guardian of a 12-year-old genius and you can watch the trailer for it now!
Looks, interesting, eh?
The film "opens in select cities in March, including NYC (March 13) and LA (March 20th)" according to the Green Day frontman. The IMDB says a little bit more about it:
"LIKE SUNDAY, LIKE RAIN tells the story of Reggie, a 12 year old rich prodigy who lives in a castle in New York, surrounded by wealth but living a lonely life as his parents are frequently absent. Eleanor is a young musician going through the pains of growing up, who is having problems with her boyfriend and was recently fired from her job. This is a beautiful story about discovery and acceptance."
'Like Sunday, Like Rain' is also set to star Leighton Meester, Debra Messing and the young Julian Shatkin.
Earlier this year, Billie Joe posted the following teasing pic on Instagram, fuelling speculation that we'll be getting another new Green Day album this year, too.
