Grandson has released a video for his new track 'Riptide'.
The visual picks up where last month's 'Identity' left off, with Jordan fighting against a darker version of himself.
He has explained a little bit more what 'Riptide' represents:
“These songs have a lot to do with the conflict we find between making painful change or dealing with the pain from staying the same with those familiar bad habits.
“One way or another, it’s gonna hurt like hell. Mike Shinoda co-produced and mentored me through this process, which began in a writing session at his studio with my longtime collaborator Boonn in early 2019. We had tried a couple ideas earlier in the day that I couldn’t get into, and then I picked up the guitar and played the intro riff and the song practically wrote itself.
"It was the first of this new era written, and while it addresses the pain of regret, the places we go to avoid confrontation, I’m proud to tell my story and hope that someone that hears it will find the strength to tell theirs.”

And here's 'Identity' to get you all caught up.
Here's a little bit of context too:
"‘Identity’ is the first step down a dark rabbit hole from the mind of grandson, where a boy born into a world of conformity and obedience must confront and destroy his own demons in order to destroy the system he lives in from within.
“This is the first chapter in the story of how I became grandson.
"The personification of the demons I’ve struggled with in my own head as I found my voice, and the very real fear every idealist has that all their effort will be for nothing.”
We recently spoke to Jordan via Video Call. Have a watch of that below too:
