It has been announced that Foo Fighters are to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2021.
The band were part of the longlist of artists alongside the likes of Iron Maiden and Rage Against The Machine. It is also being their first attempt at being inducted following the 25th anniversary of their debut album last year.
They will be joining Tina Turner, Carole King, The Go-Go’s and Jay-Z in the Performer Catagory.
Todd Rundgren, Kraftwerk, Gil Scott-Heron will be receiving the Early Influence Award, Charley Patton, LL Cool J and Randy Rhoads the Musical Excellence Award and Clarence Avant the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
The ceremony will take place on October 30 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
