Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz Achieved His Dream This Year

It's pretty heartwarming.

An old tweet from Fall Out Boy frontman Pete Wentz has resurfaced, and is getting a whole lot of attention. 

The tweet from January 2015 details what his dream is- a dream that he revealed was to headline Wrigley Field in the band's hometown of Chicago. For his hometown, and for his dad.

Almost four years later, Pete achieved his dream with Fall Out Boy's huge headline show at Chicago's Wrigley Field last month. 

Their headline show saw Fall Out Boy play to 40,000 fans, and we have no doubt that his dad was very very proud. 

In celebration of their huge homecoming, Fall Out Boy released the 'Lake Effect Kid' EP in honour of their hometown- you can check it out below:
