Fall Out Boy’s ‘MANIA’ Is One Of The Top Selling Rock Albums Of 2018

The world has gone manic for 'MANIA'.

Believe it or not, we're already halfway through 2018. And that means mid-year charts for the music world!

Nielsen have released their mid-year chart rankings for 2018, and Fall Out Boy's 'MANIA' has taken out number three in the top selling rock albums category with an equivalent album units sales of 233,000 (equivalent album units counts album streams as well as traditional unit sales).

Rounding out the top 10 are features from Panic! At The Disco's 'Pray For The Wicked', with equivalent album unit sales of 232,000 after only one week of release, and Twenty One Pilots' 2016 album 'Blurryface' with 189,000 units sold.

Twenty One Pilots also feature twice in the most streamed rock sounds of 2018 so far, with 'Heathens' collecting over 104 million streams, and 'Stressed Out' collecting over 94 million.
