Mark Hoppus, Billie Joe Armstrong, Halsey and Hayley Williams were among the musicians attending the March For Our Lives events this past weekend (March 24th).
Students from Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida led thousands of supporters in the March For Our Lives event in Washington DC on Saturday (March 24th), calling for action on gun control following the shooting at the school in February which left 17 dead.
Fall Out Boy headlined a special concert the night before the march entitled 'Stay Amped' alongside G-Eazy and Lisso which benefitted Everytown for Gun Safety and Gabby Giffords's Courage to Fight Gun Violence group.
Pete Wentz also gave a particularly emotional speech regarding the issue during the concert, dedicating 'The Kids Aren't Alright' to everybody marching:
800 similar marches were held around the country and many high-profile musicians and celebrities helped to lend their voices to the cause.
Mark Hoppus, Billie Joe Armstrong, Hayley Williams and Halsey posted pics direct from the crowd on to social media:
