Fall Out Boy Have Influenced Taylor Swift “More Than Anyone Else”

Pretty relatable to be honest.

Taylor Swift has sung the praises of Fall Out Boy in her recent cover feature with Rolling Stone - crediting the lads with being a massive musical and lyrical influence to her.

In the interview, Taylor talks about Fall Out Boy's songwriting, before quoting lyrics from their classic 'Sugar, We're Goin' Down'.

"I love Fall Out Boy so much," Taylor shared with Rolling Stone. "Their songwriting really influenced me, lyrically, maybe more than anyone else. They take a phrase and they twist it. 'Loaded God complex/ Cock it and pull it'? When I heard that, I was like, 'I’m dreaming'."

This isn't the first time that Fall Out Boy and Taylor have been mentioned in the same breath - it was only six years ago that they all teamed up to perform together at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Iconic.

Taylor has spent 2019 waxing lyrical about the bands in our world - not forgetting of course that she teamed up with Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie for 'ME!' earlier this year.

Fall Out Boy are set to release 'Believers Never Die, Volume Two' on November 15. Get all the details on that here.
