Every Twenty One Pilots Number One Has Officially Held The Top Spot For At Least Three Weeks

Despite instructions, we have to admit that we do actually believe the hype.

Twenty One Pilots' 'The Hype' has been sitting in the top spot on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart for three weeks now, which we can all agree is impressive - but it's actually a much more signigicant milestone than that.

With this third week occupying the top spot, that means that every Twenty One Pilots number one single has had at least three weeks at number one.

It's a streak that was set in 2015 by 'Stressed Out' which held the number one spot for nine weeks. It was followed by 'Ride', 'Heathens', 'Jumpsuit', 'Chlorine' and now 'The Hype'.

Overall 'The Hype' has spent 17 weeks in the Alternative Songs Chart so far, with no signs of being dethroned just yet.
