As part of his 'firsts', we asked Dying In Designer - real name Bobby - what the first album he fell in love with was. And his answer is pretty relatable.
“‘Hybrid Theory’ by Linkin Park," he shared. "I remember seeing the video for ‘One Step Closer’ on MTV and thinking, ‘Holy fuck’. I remember that album relating to my life so much. I was this young kid at school who didn’t fuck with the jocks but also wasn’t a nerd. I didn’t really fit in anywhere at all. ‘Hybrid Theory’ from front to back felt like what I was going through. It was also the realisation that I wasn’t the only person who felt this way. That band has done more for other people than any of that band can ever imagine. That’s the power of music.”
And he's not wrong - 'Hybrid Theory' is basically a masterpiece.
