World-class, as always.

Comeback Kid
have shared another taste of their upcoming new album 'Heavy Steps', and it's yet another hardcore masterclass.

And this time they have a friend involved too.

This is 'Crossed' and includes all of the qualities that make CBK one of the best hardcore bands on the planet, blended with the monolithic presences of Gojira's Joe Duplantier who adds a layer of planet-sized intensity to the already intense display.

It is absolutely world-class in every way and demands your attention right now.

Vocalist Andrew Neufeld had this to say about it:

“'Crossed' is a no-frills metallic hardcore track. Lyrically it deals with someone in my life that seemed so far gone and I had to watch them dig themselves further and further into a low and unrealistic place. “Crossed into the void” so to say. We enlisted Joe from Gojira to represent somewhat of an overlord menacing presence in the song. An overshadowing power via his blood curdling scream. This song is direct and to the point about staying in reality and warns of the elements that could bring us further into darkness.”

'Heavy Steps' will be dropped on January 22 via Nuclear Blast.

Here's the title track:

And here's 'No Easy Way Out':
