We love a cheeky reimagining.

Before iDKHOW head over to the UK next month for Slam Dunk, they've just gone and dropped a stripped back, acoustic version of 'Choke'.

If you haven't been keeping up with the news, 'Choke' is steadily climbing the alternative song chart in the US, peaking this week at number 20. Which is obviously cause for celebration!

Sharing the story behind this reimagining with Billboard, Dallon Weeks said "We started playing acoustically on some radio promo tours we've been doing for 'Choke,' and it was a lot of fun doing it this way... When we were home we started to make tracks for an acoustic version of the song, and it turned into this. It's just a way of having some fun with it."

Check out the acoustic version of iDKHOW's 'Choke' below:

Additionally - if you're wondering what iDKHOW's upcoming live sets will include, Dallon shared with AP that they've got a cover of Beck's 'Debra' ready to play live. He also shared (much to the delight of fans of The Brobecks) “No matter how far we get into this, we’ll always play some Brobecks songs.”

Nice.

iDKHOW are playing Slam Dunk next month, which will take place on May 25 in Leeds and May 26 in Hatfield, with tickets available here.
