Following the release of their single 'Twenty Letters' last week, Dream State have now realeased the official video.
'Twenty Letters' is off their upcoming debut album 'Primrose Path' which is set for release this coming Friday through UNFD.
Speaking of the new video, Dream State frontwoman CJ Gilpin has shared "We loved planning the video for 'Twenty Letters', the idea was to conjure up an ethereal experience and display the emotion of it visually. We took some inspiration from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the idea of other entities enticing and manipulating the way we feel, which can sometimes feel like the thoughts in your head are being pulled in various directions."
She continued, "I took this concept and applied my own vision, having shadow selves represented by the dark angels who hold hope and light. The lights they hold represent the stream of positive thought that is always present and can be passed on, we all have something to offer. I face my shadow self towards the end and find healing in finding myself, I am able to take this out into the world and face bigger monsters and give light to the ones who have created bigger monsters of themselves."
