Brendon Urie Would Like To Collaborate With Green Day
We're 100% on board with this. 100% on board.
Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie hasn't ever shyed away from a sneaky collaboration. This year alone he's appeared on tracks with Lil Dicky and Taylor Swift - and it looks like he's keen to continue that trend.
During one of his almost-daily live-streams on Twitch, a fan said that their "life would be made" if Brendon were to work with Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, given that the two of them were the fan's "all time inspirations".
In response, Brendon shared “Same though about Billie Joe Armstrong! I had the opportunity to meet him and the rest of the band – that was kinda crazy. I mean, Mike Dirnt [bass] is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met – as well as Tré [Cool, drums]. They’re all so kind. And this was at a party where hundreds – maybe even thousands – of people were in that room. It was just intense. And they’re so personable, and very, very nice."
He continued "And I would love to do music with them, because they’re just so fucking talented, and they had everything to do with me getting in to punk rock.”
