Bands Vs. Security: Tonight Alive Edition
Reason #237 why Tonight Alive are great humans.
The second weekend of Soundwave Festival happened over the weekend, and although the festival as a whole looked like loads of fun, Tonight Alive's set was marred by an unsavoury incident with security.
Jenna had to step in when three staff pinned a fan to the floor. You can see exactly how it all unfolded below.

As you can see, she shouts "He's cool, he's cool" at security before jumping down, pulling them off the fan and giving the poor chap a high five.
Bassist Cam Adler had some strong words about the incident...
Photo evidence of yesterday's offence. This was disgusting to watch. Completely unnecessary abuse of power pic.twitter.com/FLExk5rBUk

...and so did Jenna herself.
Security are hired to protect.. Not to tackle, choke hold, push or physical assault our fans. Im extremely disappointed.

Having said that. I realise this abuse of power does not apply to all security & was grateful for the respect & care taken in Melb & Adel.
