"Not out of the woods yet, but extremely happy the results are not what was originally feared."

Austin Carlile has given fans an update on his health.

He's recently been receiving specialist medical treatment in the US, after he began to lose the use of his legs.

"I’ve been cleared to check out of the physical rehabilitation facility I’ve been living in the past two weeks," he wrote.

"Will be spending the NEXT two weeks in Southern California continuing in an even more intensive physical therapy program to restore the strength and mobility in my legs/core/back."

"We discovered two cysts growing on my spine, but that they are NOT cancerous, NOT causing the problems and my team will NOT have to operate to remove them, which is a BLESSING to finally find out!!"

"Between my dural ectasia in low back and Marfan Syndrome, the cysts are ‘normal’ and not causing damage to the spine or surrounding areas. I leaned that what has been ailing my legs have been extremely painful and [debilitating] seizures, and was placed on an anti-seizure medication twelve days ago."

"As of now, I have been COMPLETELY seizure free since, yet another blessing! The problems found are due to my nerves, muscles, connective tissues and anatomy, so this has become yet another obstacle I will have to live with and constantly battle."

"Not out of the woods yet, but extremely happy the results are not what was originally feared. Next step, baby steps, but I feel blessed to be able to move ahead, as slow as that may be."

"'If you cannot fly, run. If you cannot run, walk. And if you cannot walk, crawl. But by all means, KEEP MOVING’ – MLK [Martin Luther King Jr.]"
