An Almost 30 Year Old Recording Of Green Day Performing ‘Stay’ Has Surfaced

An important and culturally significant relic.

Can you believe that Green Day have been a band for over 30 years now? True story. 

And now a professional-quality recording from one of the band's first shows has surfaced online. 

The audio of 'Stay' was recorded at Green Day's show at Berkley Square in California, on July 22 1989. 

Unlike most early recordings of Green Day, this one doesn't sound like it was recorded on a toaster. Check it out below:
