A new blink-182 song called 'Quarantine' is set to be released in the next two weeks, according to drummer Travis Barker.

In a new interview with Spin, Travis spoke about all of the projects that he has been working whilst in quarantine, and there are a LOT.

"I’m spoiled. This week, Brian Lee and I produced a Blink song and recorded it. Finished three jxdn songs; finished an acoustic MGK song and reworked three other songs on the album; played on a Yungblud song; co-produced and played drums on a Steve Aoki song featuring Trevor Daniels and MGK. So it’s my dream job."

When pressed about the blink song, he had this to say:

"We actually have a song called “Quarantine” that will be out in the next two weeks. Really excited about it."

The confirmation follows on from bassist Mark Hoppus revealing that he had been recording new blink music whilst he was livestreaming on Animal Crossing. Check out those answers below:

Yesterday Mark finally came back to Twitch after a long break. Here are the highlights from his live stream. Good news about new music! I think I asked him all the good questions you guys submitted. If I did not include the answers in the highlights, it's because he didn't really answer the questions. For instance, he joked that the song Untitled on Dude Ranch is untitled because "it has no title" and barely remembered anything about the recording of "Another Girl, Another Planet". If you have any more questions for Mark, feel free to write them in the comment section below and I'll do my best to ask him next time. In addition, Mark finally explained the reason why blink-182 ditched the original Josie music video. You can find the clip in our stories. We plan on telling you more about that video in next month's newsletter. #blink182 #blink182italia

It's all happening!

The song will be the first new music from the band since the release of their Christmas jam 'Not Another Christmas Song', which you can listen to and feel all festive with below:

And here's a chat we had last year with Mark and Matt Skiba all about the band's latest album 'Nine':

Oh, and Mark Hoppus was also winner of the 'Rock Sound Icon' at the 2019 Rock Sound Awards. You can pick up his special cover from SHOP.ROCKSOUND.TV now
