Literally completely identical.

A hip-hop collective by the name of Radio Killed The Hip-Hop Star have just released their debut album - and the artwork looks very very familiar.

What you're looking at is the exact same photo that Green Day used on the cover of their 2016 album 'Revolution Radio'.

For context, this is Green Day's 'Revolution Radio' artwork:

And THIS is Radio Killed The Hip-Hop Star's album artwork:

Same picture, isn't it.

It's since come to light that the artwork in question is a stock photo, and has been available for other uses for years. But until now, no one had thought to use the exact same image as Green Day to make their album artwork. It's a bold design decision.

Since Green Day fans brought this to the attention of Radio Killed The Hip-Hop Star, they've since crafted a new album artwork for their self-titled album, and are on their way to re-releasing it.

Sharing the artwork on instagram, they shared "Here is our official new album cover. It should be submitted to stores within 1-2 weeks."

All's well that ends well.

Pick up your special, collectors' edition Green Day cover of Rock Sound's 250th issue now! There's only 250 of these in existence, and once they're gone, they're gone.
