The Faim Talk Writing Music With Pete Wentz, Josh Dun, Ashton Irwin And Mark Hoppus

The Twenty One Pilots drummer has co-written two new songs for their upcoming album while Pete contributed to their debut single 'Saints Of The Sinners'.

Australia's latest musical export The Faim have been touring the UK supporting Lower Than Atlantis this month and we caught up to chat through their upcoming debut album and what it is really like to write with your heroes.

The four-piece were discovered by Goldfinger frontman and legendary producer John Feldmann before being flown out to LA to work with everyone from TØP's Josh Dun to Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, who co-wrote their debut single 'Saint Of The Sinners'.

Guitarist Michael Bono filled us in on what the FOB star is like in the studio:

"He's a very chilled out dude. He came in and we all just sat down for a few hours and talked about the music industry and how there's always gonna be someone else working on music so you've gotta be working on music and always putting in 100% at all times - no matter how successful you are."

Wise words.

The boys went on to describe 5SOS' Ashton Irwin as "an absolute legend", Josh Dun as "incredible" and Mark Hoppus as "really authentic". The band have held writing sessions with all three of the stars, with Josh having co-written two of their new songs including one alongside Hoppus.
