We caught up with the IDKHow frontman for a chat on this week's Rock Sound Podcast.
IDKHow's Dallon Weekes has revealed how bands like My Chemical Romance inspired the intricate back story and concept he and Ryan Seaman have created around their band.
Speaking on this week's Rock Sound Podcast, Dallon talked about how comic books, movies and bands like MCR helped shape the way they approached the IDKHow project:
"In my experience, things like movies and comic books, you know, the things that people become really hardcore fans of are...I guess world-building is a good term for it. A band who is really good at it might have been My Chemical Romance you know? They would do things like 'Black Parade' or 'Danger Days'. They would build this world and create this myth for every record they were doing and I always thought that was a really interesting concept. They understood how to do it."
