Heading to see Don Broco on their UK tour? You'll be seeing Man With A Mission as well then. To prepare you for what is to come we spoke to the band to find out just what makes them so brilliantly unique.

THERE'S A PRETTY UNIQUE BACKSTORY TO YOUR BAND - FOR PEOPLE WHO'VE ONLY JUST COME ACROSS YOU GUYS, HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THAT?
"It’s only a brief history about ourselves. I’d say what matters is the music but digging into our backstory is also interesting so I hope you guys enjoy it."

HOW ARE YOU FEELING ABOUT RETURNING TO THE UK WITH DON BROCO?
"Absolutely great! We’ve already done a show in Japan with them and it was amazing. It’s an honour and we can’t wait to hang out with them in their homeland."

WHAT WERE YOUR PERSONAL HIGHLIGHTS OF HAVING BROCO OVER FOR YOUR HOMETOWN ARENA SHOWS IN TOKYO?
"The music and their show was blasting and the crowd loved it. After the show we had a couple of drinks but it wasn’t enough so I guess we’ll do a lot more in the UK!"

YOU'LL BE PLAYING YOUR BIGGEST UK HEADLINE SHOW TO DATE ON THIS RUN, TOO - IS IT EXCITING TO BE MAKING YOUR MARK OVER HERE, AND ACROSS THE GLOBE IN GENERAL?
"Totally. UK is one of the areas of my huge influence in music so it’s like going to a sanctuary of my own."

YOU PLAY SOME HUGE VENUES IN JAPAN - HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT ADAPTING THAT KIND OF SPECTACULAR SHOW TO SMALLER VENUES?
"The size of the show might be different but as long as we’re playing music I believe it doesn’t matter. Regardless of the size of the venue it’s always about putting and releasing the same energy and passion that we hold inside."

WHAT'S THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING THAT YOU'VE EVER SEEN AT ONE OF YOUR SHOWS?
"It’s always about the chemistry of the crowd and the band. Whenever you feel that moment is always incredible."

YOUR MUSIC VIDEOS ARE WAY MORE ELABORATE AND CINEMATIC THAN YOUR AVERAGE - WHAT'S YOUR CURRENT FAVOURITE AND WHY?
"'Dead End in Tokyo' was an amazing one. I can’t describe it but it contains a dark but emotional attitude and also has a kind of an oriental atmosphere and I like it."

'THE WORLD'S ONE FIRE' WAS ANOTHER BIG RECORD AND STAYED IN THE ORICON ALBUMS CHART FOR AGES. WHAT HAVE BEEN THE MOST SIGNIFICANT MOMENTS FOR YOU SINCE IT CAME OUT?
"The album was a great achievement for us also for containing a pretty heavy message towards the world. I believe that was a pretty big challenge for us as a band  but I believe staying in the charts for a long time means that our fans and the people digged that, and that really made us proud and confident for what we have been through."

AND YOU HAVE A NEW SONG 'FREAK IT! FEAT TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA' THAT'LL BE THE OFFICIAL SONG FOR THE JAPAN RUGBY TEAM. HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?
"We have been supporting them as an official supporter and it just came up again. Being a part of the sports culture is really great and exciting, and taking a part as a role to support that with music is truly a great honour for us too."

IF SOMEONE WAS CONSIDERING WHETHER TO COME OUT TO ONE OF THESE SHOWS, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO CONVINCE THEM? WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE AS A BAND?
"We definitely look different from every other band in the whole wide world. See what the wildlife looks like on a rock stage and it will blow your mind out."
