10 Albums Somehow Turning 10 This Year

Just additional proof that time is a construct because we're pretty sure these albums can't possibly be 10 years old.

01. Bring Me The Horizon's 'Suicide Season'

Release date: September 29, 2008

The follow up to Bring Me's debut album 'Count Your Blessings', 'Suicide Season' was the defining moment they really carved themselves out as one of the most important bands in the scene. And that legacy continues to this day. And it's turning 10 this year.

02. The Academy Is... 'Fast Times At Barrington High'

Release date: August 19, 2008

These guys captured the hearts and minds of emo kids everywhere, and spent a lot of time hanging out with the ol' Fueled By Ramen crew of Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship and the like. 'About A Girl' is still a banger, 10 years later.

03. From First To Last's Self Titled

Release date: May 06, 2008

They gave it a really solid crack without Skrillex Sonny Moore on the mic, but it wasn't quite the same. Regardless, for what it is, this album was pretty good. And it's turning 10 this year! Madness!

04. Fall Out Boy's 'Folie À Deux'

Release date: December 10, 2008

Widely regarded as a fan-favourite, this album doesn't get anywhere near the recognition it deserves. We're down for a 10 year anniversary tour of this baby. Also, is it possible to listen to 'What A Catch, Donnie' without crying? Asking for a friend.

05. The Cab's 'Whisper War'

Release date: 29 April, 2008

Widely known for being 'that band that has three different people all named Alex', The Cab's debut album 'Whisper War' was a bit of a banger. 'I'll Run' is a definite moment.

06. Slipknot's 'All Hope Is Gone'

Release date: August 20, 2018

07. The Maine 'Can't Stop Won't Stop'

Release date: July 08, 2008

The album that introduced us to, and made us fall in love with The Maine. How much of an absolute banger is 'Into Your Arms'? Absolute BANGER.

08. Panic At The Disco's 'Pretty. Odd'

Release date: March 25, 2008

The album that gave us 'Northern Downpour', and tore the fan base apart by the missing '!' turns 10 this year! Time flies!

09. My Chemical Romance's 'The Black Parade Is Dead'

Release date: July 01, 2008

How has it been 10 years since My Chemical Romance killed off their persona of The Black Parade? Normally a live album wouldn't get a nod in a list like this, but this one makes the cut. Because it's a masterpiece.

10. The All American Rejects 'When The World Comes Down'

Release date: December 16, 2008

Happy 10th birthday to the album that brought us absolute anthems 'Gives You Hell' and 'I Wanna'. What a moment. What an album. What a band.
