The moments that can only happen when the whole scene is condensed on to one line-up for an entire summer

As it's the final week of the final ever Warped Tour, we're taking a look at the incredible moments that we still talk about. The on-stage collaborations.

With 24 years of line-ups to pull from, this list is by no means comprehensive. But these are some of best the collaborations that have defined Warped Tour in our minds.

11. PARAMORE FEAT. THE ACADEMY IS...' WILLIAM BECKETT

Oh, 2005 Warped Tour. So iconic. Not only were My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy out there headlining together, but Paramore and William Beckett presented us with this incredible on-stage collaboration for 'Woah'. Starting the list off STRONG.

10. SIMPLE PLAN FEAT. WATERPARKS' AWSTEN KNIGHT

Legends supporting legends, it was truly iconic when Awsten jumped on stage to take on vocal duties for the Simple Plan classic 'I'm Just A Kid' this year. Not to mention the fact that Joan Jett was also there. Watching. Mega.

09. THE SUMMER SET FEAT. 5SOS' LUKE HEMMINGS

While 5SOS never played Warped, that's not stopped frontman Luke Hemmings jumping on stage for a sneaky collab with The Summer Set for 'Lightning In A Bottle'.

08. STATE CHAMPS FEAT. ALL TIME LOW'S RIAN DAWSON

Nashville-native Rian Dawson jumped up and played drums for State Champs at the Nashville Warped date this year. And fortunately the lads in As It Is happened to be running the instagram stories for Rock Sound at the time- which is how we got some sick, up-close footage of the whole thing.

07. ATTACK ATTACK! FEAT. HEY MONDAY'S CASSADEE POPE

These are the moments that make Warped Tour. In what other context would you have Cassadee Pope joining metalcore giants Attack Attack! on stage? And she absolutely holds her own. It's brilliant.
06. GOOD CHARLOTTE FEAT. WATERPARKS, CHASE ATLANTIC AND YUNGBLUD

While no video footage has surfaced of this iconic moment, Good Charlotte invited Waterparks, Chase Atlantic and Yungblud on to the Warped Tour stage for a huge performance of 'Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous'. Huge.

05. COBRA STARSHIP FEAT. THE ACADEMY IS...'S WILLIAM BECKETT AND GYM CLASS HEROES' TRAVIE MCCOY

Oh, 2008. This moment when both William Beckett and Travie McCoy joined Cobra Starship on stage for a live performance of 'Snakes On A Plane' was truly iconic. It captures the era perfectly.

04. STATE CHAMPS FEAT. ALL TIME LOW'S ALEX GASKARTH

All Time Low only spent three days on the 2018 run of Warped Tour, but they made it COUNT. All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth lept on stage with State Champs to perform 'Criminal' live. To make it an even bigger deal, 'Criminal' is one of the songs off the latest State Champs album that Alex co-wrote. A MOMENT INDEED.

03. SILVERTOOTH - SILVERSTEIN AND BEARTOOTH COMBINING TO BECOME A SUPERGROUP

Supergroups don't come much more super than this. Silvertooth performed entire sets, sold merch and were on the line-up by name. Huge. HUGE.

02. MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE FEAT. FALL OUT BOY'S PATRICK STUMP

At Warped Tour 2005, Fall Out Boy vocalist Patrick Stump joined the lads in My Chemical Romance on stage. To play DRUMS. He took on drumming duty for 'Thank You For The Venom', which is not exactly an easy song.

When asked about it a couple of years later, Patrick said "I played with My Chemical Romance once, at Warped tour. I played a song with them on drums. It was awesome. I was really nervous though because I hadn't played drums in, like, 5 years. I'm sitting in this little trailer, like a backstage room, and I'm sitting there and I'm practising my ass off and Gerard's like, "dude! It's OK, man, calm down!", and I'm like "NO NO NO! I haven't played in FIVE YEARS! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!". I took it really seriously and the song's, like, two minutes long."

01. LINKIN PARK FEAT. A DAY TO REMEMBER'S JEREMY MCKINNON

Linkin Park's entire surprise set at the Ventura date of Warped Tour 2014 is the stuff of legend. Jeremy McKinnon isn't the only on-stage collab during this set, with other notable features from members of Yellowcard, Issues and Finch

We caught up with Linkin Park frontman Mike Shinoda about the legendary set on the Rock Sound Podcast this week- check it out below:
