We are delighted to present 'Cut Me And Let Me Die', the debut single from Stylo and the Murder Dogs, the stars of the upcoming film 'Teenage Badass'.

Overflowing with jaunty instrumentation and classic rock and roll attitude, it's a wonderful slice of summery alt-rock that will be trapped inside your head for weeks on end.

Have a listen below:

'Teenage Badass' is set for release digitally on September 18 via Freestyle Digital Media, after not being able to have its world premiere at SXSW this year. You will be able to download the film from Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, YouTube Movies, Cable and Satellite On Demand.

Directed by Grant McCord, the film follows the exploits of Brad and his new band as they try and land a slot playing on a local news show. But then as things start to pick up, a chaotic series of events mean that they could lose everything.

The ensemble cast includes Mcabe Gregg (Enlisted), Julie Ann Emery (Preacher), Kevin Corrigan (Pineapple Express), Madelyn Deutch (The Year of Spectacular Men), Elsie Hewitt (Dave) and Dillon Lane (Countdown).

There are also cameos from Jimmy Eat World's Jim Adkins and The Maine's Pat Kirch!

And the film's soundtrack hat the film's soundtrack will include 12 original songs by artist Evan Ultra, who also stars in the film and is the brain behind the whole band as well!

Grant had this to say about the digital release:

“I’m excited to partner with Freestyle Digital Media to bring to audiences this band movie that’s based on way too many true stories.

“This film is our zany retelling of the ups and downs of starting a band with your friends – the backdoor deals, the petty drama, and the emotional immaturity of being young and ambitious.”
