"'Void' is about overcoming that voice in your head telling you you’re at your worst and you’ll never be more than that."
We are very happy indeed to be able to present to you the visual accompaniment to Black Coast's track 'Void'.
Taken from their insatiable and intense debut album 'Outworld', which pushed the band towards their own caustic niche, it's a blend of razor-sharp chords and inhuman howls that builds and builds to a bludgeoning conclusion. Though it's a track that despite the heaviness and blurriness of its sound, and visual, is rooted in pushing through and finding light at the end of the tunnel. You might be in the void now, but you don't have to stay there.
Vocalist Charlie Hewitt had this to say:
"Void is about overcoming that voice in your head telling you you’re at your worst and you’ll never be more than that. One that wrestles with who are as a person when you’re completely at your lowest, the frenzy you feel in everything.”
We chatted to the band all about the record on its release, which you can catch up with HERE
