How!

Whatcha diggeridoin’?

Holy State have arrived in France, and it’s already been a couple of hectic days of touring; injuries, creepy truckers, mad folk and getting lost looking for McDonald’s... the typical rock ‘n’ roll madness.

Whoopsy, rimshot

After getting the ferry to Belgium on Sunday we met up with the beautiful Red Shoes at De Zwerver in Leffinge; it was a great show in a great venue, except that Smalls had trouble with the first song due to rat problems. Too much pasta. Next we had a day off, which we spent driving to Tourcoing in France, and slowly losing our minds in the tiniest hostel room (see below). Fortunately we had Anchorman and Photobooth to get us through the evening.

An early bedtime met an early rise, and we gathered our belongings to paint the town red with the blood of the townsfolk slain by our mighty riffs. We ate regrettable pasta (again) in town, before arriving at the venue to find a magnificent lunch buffet prepared by blind French nuns, or perhaps the venue staff. We’ve been spending the past few hours writing some choons and gearing up for tonight’s show; it promises to be pretty crazy, hopefully we’ll have some photos to ship over next time! Tomorrow we navigate our galleon across the European voids to Netherlands, and we’re looking forward to seeing some familiar faces.

Ciao! x
