We don't use the word 'supergroup' lightly, but...

The Falcon features members of Alkaline TrioThe Loved Ones and The Lawrence Arms in the form of Dan Andriano, Dave Hause and Brendan Kelly and Neil Hennessy respectively.

And you can tell. The band's album 'Gather Up The Chaps' is out tomorrow, but today you can hear new track 'Sergio's Here'.

And you can listen right, uh, here.

"'Sergio's Here' is a sweet love story about a boy with no money, a girl with some money, a crippling sense of ennui, despair and feeling adrift in a vast, haphazard universe, a deep burning desire to get high and the arrival on the scene of Sergio, the drug dealer," explains Brendan Kelly.

"The Sergio in this song is based on an actual guy I used to know a long time ago. My favorite bit of this tune is definitely in the second verse when Dan, who had never really heard the lyrics actually bursts into a fit of pretty hilarious giggles while recording his backing vocals. We left that shit in, as it seemed to go with the generally unhinged nature of the tune. Enjoy!”

Like what you hear? 'Gather Up The Chaps' is available to pre-order via Red Scare, and The Falcon will appear at this year's Groezrock Festival.
