Here’s Who We Reckon Would Rule If Bands Did Wrestling

What with Wrestlemania happening tonight and Download Festival grappling with a wrestling theme this year, it seemed like a perfect time we had nothing better to do than to ponder which bands could hold their own in the ring.

Neck Deep
Duh. The Wrexham pop-punk crew just did a whole tour based around wrestling, and there are bloody loads of them, too.

Matt Tuck
In wrestling, you need to make an entrance. And boy, do Bullet For My Valentine and Matt Tuck know how to do that. Look at all of that fire.

The ultimate tag team. There's Hayley's energy (we don't call her Duracell Williams for nothing), Jeremy's brawn and Taylor's showmanship.

What more could you want?

Kevin Skaff
The A Day To Remember guitarist has that advantage of actually having something to do with wrestling - his girlfriend is WWE Diva Paige.

He must have picked up a trick or two from her, right?

Andy Williams
The Every Time I Die guitarist is a big, big man. We wouldn't cross him. Would you?

The dress-up theme for this year's Download Festival is wrestling, so PROGRESS Wrestling will have a presence at the festival, which takes place in June.

The line-up so far is below.
