Here’s How The Westboro Baptist Church Protest Went Down At Warped Tour

Bit of a flop, really.

Oh, the annual Warped Tour protest by the Westboro Baptist Church. It combines both the worst of humanity (the WBC) and the best (bands).

This year was a bit underwhelming, with a small group of protesters and some story around cookies and Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman?

Regardless, it's moments like this that bring out the best in people, and the fine people on Warped Tour are no exception. Here's now some of the bands reacted to the hate-group protesting Warped:

For example, Trash Boat's Tobi Duncan decided to fight hate with love:

Waterparks frontman Awsten Knight also decided to fight hate with (aggressive) love:

The Warped Tour Mutant Pit Reporter donned some sick threads to share her perspective:

State Champs' Ryan Scott Graham said what we were all thinking:

Meanwhile As It Is' Ben Biss was surprised to see they exist at all

But as his insta story shows, they were entirely out-numbered:

Basically, after a really short protest and being entirely out-numbered, love won and the WBC took off.
