It's Christmas and that means one thing, it's time to get festive with all our favourite bands!

So here are the 12 best Xmas tunes, from originals to covers, that the scene has ever given us.

Buckle up, it's a wild ride.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE - ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU
One of the best bands on earth covering one of the best Christmas songs ever written? Er, yes please. My Chem did the Mariah Carey classic proud, bringing everything we love about them to the original and turning it, as if by magic, into something that could've been on 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge'. Basically, listen to this right now.

PANIC! AT THE DISCO - FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS
It may only be a few days old, but it already feels like a classic. Panic! can do no wrong, ever. We all know that. And Mr Urie has now gone and done what we were all hoping for and penned an original Christmas song to enjoy in every year to come. If festive cheer was a song, it's this.

LOWER THAN ATLANTIS - MERRY CHRISTMAS (WHEREVER YOU ARE)
Continuing the festive, feel-good vibes, Mike Duce and Co. distilled everything brilliant about Christmas right here.

LINDSEY STIRLING FEAT. ALEX GASKARTH - TIME TO FALL IN LOVE
Another brand new addition that already feels like a classic. Violinist Lindsey Stirling co-wrote this irresistible Christmas jam with none other than All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth, who also takes on lead vocals. If you want to dance this Christmas, this is your song.

THE MAINE - WINTER MEANS NOTHING (WITHOUT YOU)
The Maine's new Christmas EP is just brilliant (because obviously, it's The Maine) and 'Winter Means Nothing (Without You)' is the perfect reason why. Warm and nostalgic, get this on the stereo, watch its retro video (complete with Rian Dawson cameo) and feel all the feels.

FALL OUT BOY - YULE SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT
Classic FOB wordplay turned into a Christmas song? Yes please. Double that with Mr Stump's warm as butter vocals and massive chorus and we've got a classic on our hands. All together 'UNDERNEATH THE TREEEEEEE'.

ALL TIME LOW - MERRY CHRISTMAS, KISS MY ASS
In this original, Alex Gaskarth (his second entry on the list, no less) and the boys bring their sweary fun to an original with an equally badly behaved video.

GOOD CHARLOTTE - LAST CHRISTMAS
Opening their brand new 'A GC Christmas: Part One' EP, the guys pay tribute to George Michael with this sterling cover of the Wham! classic. This is sure to soundtrack a thousand slowdances this holiday. And rightly so.

BLINK-182 - HAPPY HOLIDAYS, YOU BASTARD
The ultimate pop-punk Christmas song? It may only be 42 seconds long but no one has ever forgotten Mark Hoppus' panicky tale of not wrapping presents and all kinds of other chaos on Christmas Eve. Maybe save this one for the headphones.

CREEPER - SAME TIME NEXT YEAR
Another new entry, everybody's fave Southampton gang have brought a goth majesty to Christmas on their new festive EP and this poignant original goes from zero to a hundred in a blast of brilliance.

THE WONDER YEARS - CHRISTMAS AT 22
Forever the masters at documenting life as it really is, Dan 'Soupy' Campbell and the boys tell the joyous story of returning home for Christmas and letting what once was continue as it if never ended.

DALLON WEEKES - PLEASE DON'T JUMP (IT'S CHRISTMAS)
Finishing on a more serious note, Mr Weekes' original is a reminder of the most important thing at Christmas, to remember to look after each other, think of each other and treat each other with kindness, because ultimately that's what's most important of all, right?
