Glass Cloud’s new album ‘The Royal Thousand’ is out July 02 through Basick in the UK. Stream a brand new track right here!

Say hello to our new Band Of The Week, Glass Cloud!

The Virginian four-piece feature ex-members of Of Mice & Men and The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza (yep, really) in their ranks, and they make a beastly post-hardcore racket. Which naturally, we approve of.

Their debut album 'The Royal Thousand' is out in the UK on July 02 through Basick Records, but you can have a sneak listen to a new track, 'If He Dies, He Dies', using the Soundcloud player below!

Speaking of the track, vocalist Jerry Rouch told Rock Sound:

"'If He Dies, He Dies' was the first song that we decided to 'get heavy' for on the Glass Cloud album. Josh told me that it was so much easier and natural for him to write heavier stuff.
So I told him to write whatever he felt, because I had always been a huge fan of his personal style and the stuff he did in Danza. He literally sent me the instrumental of a new song three hours later.
Lyrically speaking, this track is about peoples' lack of dedication to certain situations... specifically pointing out the 'If I just dont think about it, everything will be ok' approach."
