Yet the band cleared up the confusion and stated that it's actually taken from a lyric in 'Boom, Roasted', a brilliant song by cult pop-punkers Crucial Dudes.
THE STORY SO FAR
If you're going to name your band after a song, you may as well head straight to royalty. Parker Cannon and Co pulled their name from an album track on New Found Glory's 'Stick & Stones'. It's still one of the best conversations we've ever had.

Originally the saddest emo band in the world were called A Day In The Life, which was pulled directly from The Beatles' song of the same name. Everyday is a school day.
ALL TIME LOW
Real recognising real once again, All Time Low got their name from a line in the New Found Glory tune 'Head On Collision'. Where would we be without NFG?
TAKING BACK SUNDAY
An absolutely wonderful band name that we bet you didn't know originated from a song! Long Island pop-punkers were responsible for these beauty.
