Not that you need convincing about how great they are, but ONE OK ROCK have a pretty big supporter in All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth.

ONE OK ROCK's Taka Moriuchi is one of our world's most fearless figures! To celebrate his fearlessness, he's on the cover of the Rock Sound 50 right now, which you can pick up now from SHOP.ROCKSOUND.TV

Now, you already know that we really like Taka and his band ONE OK ROCK. We know that you know. So we had a chat to All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth about them. Funnily enough, he's as much of a fan as we are.

“I honestly feel that they’re taking the Western World by force,” said Alex Gaskarth when we asked him about the impact of One OK Rock back in late 2016.

“Sometimes bands have a hard time crossing over from a non-English speaking country into the English speaking parts of the world, and it seems to me like One OK Rock are doing a damn good job of making the transition.

"In my opinion, they’re doing it the right way by getting in front of passionate crowds and building a grass-roots fan base for themselves in these ‘newer’ markets."

One OK Rock have previously supported his band in the US, while Alex features on their album 'Ambitions', and Alex feels like it's important for bands from across the world to back each other.

“All Time Low are not exactly what I’d consider a mainstream act right now, and we’ve had to do the same thing in places like Japan," he says.

"I think it’s really beneficial for bands to embrace and support one another like this, and help each other grow naturally in foreign places."

“What I love most about them is how down to Earth and focused they all are,”
 he continues.

“They’re a really big, really well established band in many parts of the world, but when they come to the UK, or the States, they do an amazing job of adapting and realising that there’s still some work to be done and room to grow.

"It’s not often that you see a band able to make that transition, and I think it says a lot about who they are as people.”
