14 Album Anniversary Tours We’d Love To See In 2019

Because we can all dream.

A whole bunch of great albums celebrate significant birthdays next year - and where there are anniveraries, there are anniversary tours.

Here are 14 albums we'd love to see celebrated live in 2019, from the 'hmm, just maybe' to the 'ha, in our dreams'.

GREEN DAY - 'AMERICAN IDIOT'
One of the greatest, grandest rock albums of all time turns 15 in 2019, and just think how good it would sound live and in full. Billie Joe, Mike and Tré have been rehearsing other classic albums in full - so could this one actually happen? Please make it so.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE - 'THREE CHEERS FOR SWEET REVENGE'
Imagine it. Just imagine it.

BLINK-182 - 'ENEMA OF THE STATE'
It's been 20 years since this pop-punk classic was unleashed on the world. Any birthday surprises in store, lads?

FALL OUT BOY - 'FOLIE A DEUX'
Okay, so technically Folie turns 10 this year - but it came out in December 2008, so there's still time for something next year, right? Maybe. Possibly. Either way, here are some nuns.

BIFFY CLYRO - 'ONLY REVOLUTIONS'
The album that gave Biffy a crucial push into arena-filling, festival-headlining massiveness will be turning 10, and it still sounds incredible.

SLIPKNOT - 'SLIPKNOT'
Almost 20 years have passed since the Iowa juggernaut scared the shit out of the entire world, and reinvented heavy music in the process. We'd love to hear some of this when they hit the road again next year.

ISSUES - 'ISSUES'
Five years ago, Issues dropped this absolute genre-destroying beast on the world. Hopefully we'll get to hear at least some of it live again when they fire back into action in 2019.

JIMMY EAT WORLD - 'FUTURES'
The emo godfathers played this haunting, life-affirming classic in full for a tour back in 2014. Could lightning strike twice?

GALLOWS - 'GREY BRITAIN'
This spectacularly bleak masterpiece explored a Britain drowning in hate and despair, back in 2009. Good thing that's totally not relevant anymore, eh.

NEW FOUND GLORY - 'CATALYST'
The album that gave us 'All Downhill From Here' is almost 15 years old. A) How? B) That sounds like something worth celebrating.

ALEXISONFIRE - 'WATCH OUT'
This one feels especially unlikely, but 'Watch Out' is about to turn 15, and we'd sell our (insert item of value here)s to see Alexisonfire play the whole thing.

SET YOUR GOALS - 'THIS WILL BE THE DEATH OF US'
A decade on, this still sounds sick and poignant.

LIGHTS - 'THE LISTENING'
Ten years have passed since Lights dropped this addictive debut album, and she's explored so many new musical paths since then. It'd be incredible to hear her perform, or even reinterpret, some of it live.

AUGUST BURNS RED - 'CONSTELLATIONS'
The metalcore trailblazers went out on a 'Messengers' anniversary tour a couple of years back. Might they do the same for this brilliant follow-up, as it also turns 10?
