K.Flay and Vic Fuentes have collaborated for new single ‘Irish Goodbye’, the latest single from K. Flay’s forthcoming ‘MONO’ LP.
Billed as one of the forthcoming album’s heaviest tracks, it follows the release of singles ‘Raw Raw’ and ‘Shy’.
Describing how that energy came to be part of the song, along with the Fuentes linkup, K.Flay has said:
“I was screaming in the demo to that song and eventually I realized, ‘I have a friend who screams professionally, so maybe I should get him on this.’”

‘MONO’ is set for release September 15 via Giant Music.
The 14-track project came together after the LA-based artist completely lost her hearing in her right ear after waking up one morning in August last year, leading her to question whether she’d ever make music again.
Thankfully, the two-time Grammy nominee not only persevered but found a renewed sense of purpose in the studio, having said of the experience:
“I felt an urgency I hadn’t experienced in quite some time,” she reveals. “It was like this massive sensory change had put me back into a beginner’s mind, where I felt so free but also compelled to put everything I had into making the record great.”
She’ll also be heading out on a UK and EU tour later in the year – see the full dates below.
