HECK made their return to the stage this Summer, and they have seemingly been working on new music. But it’s not going to be that simple.
This Summer, HECK played their first show in five years at The Fighting Cocks in Kingston, bringing back the unmistakable chaos that helped make them one of the UK’s most ferocious bands. Then they played a second show at 2000trees Festival.
And they are going to be playing another show next month on December 02 at London’s Underworld.
Oh, and it now appears as though they have also recorded some brand-new music. But it’s not that straightforward.
In the form of an IMPORTANT BROADCAST FROM HECK HQ, the band tease a frantic new track not once but twice. First on a video tape which then gets battered into a million pieces, and then again via making you think that your computer is broken.
It is so HECK, but so is the very short snippet of a track they do reveal, which feels like it’s going to be astonishing.

“There is a new song, by the band known as HECK, in the year 2022, that will be available to listen to at someday, presumably, later than today but sooner than never. Well done.”
