happydaze are kicking off the year in some style with an absolutely wonderful new track, showing off everything that they represent perfectly.
It’s called ‘Cool Blue’ is a transcendent, thrilling and tight piece of ethereal pop-punk.
It’s as emotional as it is electric, and feels like the biggest statement that the band have made so far. An excellent reason to keep your eyes firmly on them this year and beyond.
The band had this to say about it:
“‘Cool Blue’ is the acceptance and sadness felt when someone important to you can’t be in your life anymore, whether it’s a partner, family or friend. The track speaks to the comfort in it being the right decision, a conversation with someone you were close to, honing in on the push and pull and inner struggle of knowing you’re not right for each other. ‘Cool Blue’ is about living too fast, knowing you are going to struggle without them, but accepting it’s what you have to do.”
