Black Coast Release Crushing New Track ‘Mercy’

Black Coast continue to be one of the UK’s most exciting heavy prospects with their latest absolute belter.

Black Coast have released a new track, their first since the release of their record ‘Outworld’ back in 2021.

And it’s huge.

It’s called ‘Mercy’ and finds the band delving deeper into their melodic side in the most crushing manner.

Building from a gorgeously gripping base into a caustic and cathartic thriller, via a couple of punches to the temple along the way, it’s an incredible showing from the band, building on where they have come from in the most natural way.

Vocalist Charlie Hewitt had this to say about it:

“It can be a struggle not to just introvert yourself so much that you let no one in at all. This song is about trying to break down those self-imposed barriers. It’s about learning to cope when feelings of self-loathing creep in and how I’ve grown within myself as my mind and life change.”

Let’s go:

The track is set to appear on the band’s upcoming self-titled EP which will be dropping on April 28.

Until then, here’s ‘Void’ from ‘Outworld’:
