Well, Oceansize certainly weren’t lying to us when they said that their new EP would be a “more reserved” affair. The six tracks on offer here are still typically TEXTOceansize, but think more along the lines of ‘Music For A Nurse’ than ‘One Out Of nONE’. This is the kind of music to lie down and close your eyes to, let the music take you on a journey. Probably the most atmospheric album by the five-piece to date, closer ‘The Strand’ is the highlight here, an eight-minute ambient masterpiece that’ll go down a treat with fans of Air. Good stuff.
