Not hugely original but not totally generic either, Young Guns display some awesome ideas on this EP. While no track particularly stands out by anthemic standards, it could all be part of their cunning plan to take the country by storm. The tunes on offer tease this reviewer’s ears with some mighty rock riffs which don’t explode enough to officially make them stadium-worthy, but this is hopefully intended to showcase how truly brilliant their album is going to be without ruining the surprise. Not ear-shattering just yet but with potential to bring the tinnitus soon, Rock Sound is excited to hear what’s yet to come.
