NOT Paramore. But not bad at all...

Let’s address this one head on:
We Are The In Crowd are going to draw
Paramore comparisons off the back off this full-length debut, whether they like it or not.
Taylor Jardine’s vocals bear a striking similarity to Miss H Williams throughout ‘Best Intentions’, but there is more to be found when the surface is scratched. Her vocal gymnastics are backed up by some solid pop-rock sensibilities that confirm the likes of ‘Rumor Mill’ and ‘Kiss Me Again’ have their own legs to stand on. Granted, in the more ballady numbers such as ‘All Or Nothing’, things delve into slightly forgettable power-pop territory, but overall there is enough substance here to credit this as a decent debut effort.
