Vanna is everything that is right and wrong about metallic whatevercore at the minute.

Vanna is everything that is right and wrong about metallic whatevercore at the minute. The band is musically accomplished, their record ‘A New Hope’ is fantastically produced and their sound is an oh-so relevant mix of
Underoath,
Misery Signals and
A Day To Remember as the thick chugs, hefty breakdowns, delicious choruses and nuanced bridges you know and love are all well accounted for. But, the problem is simple,
Vanna’s sound is so easily recognisable digestible to the modern music palette they run the risk of being tasteless. The metalcore equivalent of faint vanilla. They will get away with ‘A New Hope’ but try this again in a years time? No chance.
