Guildford’s Trails have been bobbing about the South East music scene in some form or another for the past half decade, but with this, their debut EP under the Trails moniker, they’ve found a real comfort in viciously catchy rock songs peppered with frantic staccato riffery and off-kilter rhythms. ‘All The Other Humans’ sets the bar suitably high, at times feeling like they’ve managed to squeeze four different songs into three-and-a-half minutes, but at no point do they lose focus or drop the ball. Trails have an exciting, original sound and could have a bright future if they follow up on the promise shown here.
