Not too many bands have the balls to write music with the kind of ambition and eye on progression that Floridian rockers Tides Of Man manage on this fantastic sophomore album. Packed with a heaving mass of ideas all brought to life with stunning execution, it‘s enough to make your eardrums burst with excitement. Within the complex riffs and rhythms, straight-up pop melodies and helium-filled vocals, there’s an obvious reference point in Coheed And Cambria but this doesn’t tell the full story. Tides Of Man are a band forging their own path and doing so with supreme confidence and class in abundance.
