This is another triumph...

It’s been almost six years since
TEMBLD last released an album, but ‘Blood And Fire’ has been well worth the wait. ‘Love Turns To Hate’ and ‘Monsier Cutts’ are reminiscent of their ‘Hörse Of The Dög’-era, in that they still rollock and roll with a hillbilly charm, but it’s third track ‘So Long, Goodnight’ that’s this album’s highlight; more melodic and with
Guy McKnight singing instead of shouting (as he often does on this record), it’s sure to win the them a whole army of new fans. Few bands are as unique as
Eighties Matchbox and even fewer are as consistent, this is another triumph for the Brighton mob.
