The Computers - You Can’t Hide From The Computers

The Computers aren't ones to fuck around. They stick to what they know. And based on the evidence this fantastic mini-album provides us with that can only be a good thing. S.O.S, for example, may sound one dimensional on the surface but never does it bore, never does it cry out for the listener to skip to the next track, the equally focused and driven Please Drink Responsibly. Never do the energy levels drop, something those who have seen the band tear it up onstage will attest to; never do they veer into sheer plagiarism, although City Ghosts does rather resemble Against Me!'s Animal. Slick, smooth grooves and party hoedowns aplenty? Yes fuckin' please!!
