Racking up a solid reputation after only a handful of shortrun EPs and 7-inch singles, the Hereford orchestral Talons' debut full-length has come at exactly the right time. Heavier and more ferocious than ever, ‘Hollow Realm’ is an eclectic mix of progressive personalities. At times treading the line of metal, the instrumental-only sextet have rid of the red tape and pushed outside their boundaries even further than before. Without need for lyrics, the three guitars, two violins and drums aptly scream a voice of their own bolting you into a seat and sending you off on a rollercoaster of emotions.
