Now Now - Neighbours

Rating: 7

Known previously as Now, Now Every Children, this Minneapolis, Minnesota bunch are renowned for their somewhat awkward collective characters, which adds to the intrigue. This EP appears at first to fill a certain gap between Paramore and Owl City-in-female-form Lights. Having shared a stage with Hayley and co, this comparison seems a little obvious, but further investigation peels back layers of exquisite and intriguing composition, haunting vocal lines and a rather more interesting offering than Williams’ crew. Easy to immerse yourself in, this is ultimately charming and thought provoking. Seek out if you will.
