Million Dead - ‘A Song To Ruin’

More than four years after its initial pressing sold out, ‘A Song To Ruin’, MD’s first of two albums, is being reissued in glorious fashion. When it hit the shelves in 03, the band truly stood out from endless copycat screamo acts: it wowed critics and fans with its ferocious punk rock passion, musical intelligence, mighty riffs, and frontman Frank Turner’s frenetic vocal delivery and impossibly ace, insanely intellectual lyrics. It still sounds amazing, and is here remastered, taking in bonus tracks and a DVD featuring promo videos, their last gig with first guitarist Cameron, and a sweaty final London show.
